Director - Healthcare & Public Health, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)

Feedback on the event:
The event was very well organized, and I was especially pleased with the business matching opportunities. I'm excited about the growing collaboration between CII and MEJ.
Looking ahead:
CII is planning its 22nd Annual Health Summit towards the end of October. I recommend inviting the 24 companies that participated in this event, as well as others like Beyond Next Ventures and CIC who may be interested. The summit gathers CEOs from various healthcare sectors—providers, diagnostics, digital health, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology—providing a platform for Indian and Japanese companies to connect and co-create.
CII believes the signing of an MoU between MEJ, CII and ERIA will be a crucial milestone, and we hope it can be announced during the summit.
Moving forward, it will be important for CII and MEJ to identify companies in both India and Japan that are willing to use the ME-India platform currently being developed.
Dr. Shubnum Singh
Principal Advisor - Healthcare, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)

Feedback on the event:
It was a very well-organized event—I'd rate it 5 out of 5.
For future events, it might be beneficial to ask companies to complete a questionnaire beforehand, so that presentations can be tailored to their specific interests and questions.
Looking ahead:
I hope CII and MEJ can continue working together to identify promising matches between companies and hospitals.
In particular, technologies that are low-cost and scalable for high-volume primary care should be a key focus moving forward.
