In cooperation with the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), Medical Excellence JAPAN (MEJ) is implementing the "Medical Excellence in Asia (MExx)"initiative.
MEJ is seeking a vendor to conduct a survey on the feasibility of collaboration and business development between Japan and Thailand in the field of regenerative medicine.

1. Background

The MExx Initiative is designed to foster growth of bilateral collaboration within the healthcare industry between Japan and various target countries by supporting the establishment of local bases to serve as MEJ's local counterparts. These local counterparts will be the hub organization of Japan's industry-government-academia-medical platform in the partner country or region, promoting collaboration with Japan in the healthcare field.

The MExx initiative is now focused on developing a vibrant network between Japan and Thailand through the development of ME Thailand. While the Japan-Thai economic partnership is well-developed, there remain untapped opportunities in the healthcare sector to advance this partnership. The goal of ME Thailand will be to identify these opportunities and help activate stakeholders on both sides to see these opportunities to fruition, with the goal being the health and wellness of both countries.
