[ME-India] CII Delegation Business Matching Event Held in Tokyo

On June 23, 2025, the ME India CII Delegation Business Matching event was successfully held at the Nihonbashi Life Science Hub in Tokyo. This high-profile event marked a significant step forward in deepening cooperation between Japan and India in the fields of healthcare and life sciences.

Distinguished Attendees and Growing Interest
The event garnered considerable attention, bringing together influential stakeholders from both public and private sectors. Distinguished guests included representatives from the Embassy of India in Japan, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the Cabinet Secretariat of Japan, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
This strong lineup of attendees demonstrated the strategic importance of Japan-India collaboration in medical innovation, investment, and technology transfer.
A Showcase of Bilateral Collaboration
As part of the ME India initiative, the event welcomed 23 visiting delegates from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and featured 24 Japanese companies, each presenting their latest medical technologies, services, and innovations.
The event provided a platform for these companies and Indian stakeholders to explore business opportunities, partnerships, and potential areas for mutual growth. Approximately 100 participants joined the sessions, contributing to a dynamic and engaging atmosphere throughout the day.
