【Report】A paper by the late Dr. Tatsuya Kondo reporting "the nature, characteristics, and outcomes of the Japanese healthcare system" now published online in Global Health & Medicine（GHM）

In 2020, MEJ conducted a research on the “characteristics of the Japanese healthcare system” outsourced by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry. A report by the late Dr. Kondo "Report on the nature, characteristics, and outcomes of the Japanese healthcare system" is now published on the website of Global Health & Medicine.
The report explains the framework of healthcare in Japan based on “patient-centered rational medicine” with special focus on "medical team approach", "nutrition management", and "infection controls", as well as treatment outcomes.
