On December 19, 2024, Medical Excellence JAPAN (MEJ) participated in one of India’s largest healthcare events, the 21st Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Health Summit, as a partner organization from Japan for the first time. During the summit, MEJ CEO Dr. Kenji Shibuya delivered a keynote speech.

At the event, the CII publicly announced its commitment to continuing its partnership with MEJ to strengthen collaboration between the healthcare industries of India and Japan.

Additionally, Dr. Shibuya announced plans to establish ME India.
There were 400 participants, including representatives from the Indian Ministry of Health and key figures from India’s healthcare industry attended at the summit.

Japan-India Healthcare Industry Collaboration Lunch Meeting

On the same day, CII hosted a Japan-India Healthcare Industry Collaboration Lunch Meeting. 15 representatives from Indian healthcare companies and 6 representatives from Japanese companies attended the luncheon.
During the meeting, the Japanese companies introduced their business activities and discussed significant opportunities in India’s healthcare sector, along with the potential for long-term partnerships.
